My Role at Uduma

My role as a Senior Technical Lead will involve:

Area Key Deliverables Impact
Data Strategy & Architecture • Create a cloud‑native data lake and warehouse architecture.
• Map, model, and secure data from IoT sensors, mobile apps, and legacy systems.
• Draft a 12‑month roadmap for progressive migration.
A single source of truth that powers all business decisions.
Systems Integration • Build RESTful APIs, sync mobile & web platforms, and orchestrate ETL pipelines with Airflow / dbt.
• Automate data ingestion and quality checks.
Seamless data flow between on‑field devices and decision‑makers.
AI & Analytics • Deploy predictive models (anomaly detection, flow forecasting) using Python & PyTorch.
• Integrate dashboards (Power BI / Tableau) for real‑time monitoring.
Anticipate failures, reduce downtime, and optimize water distribution.
Team Enablement • Mentor local tech & data teams across 3 countries.
• Deliver training on data literacy and best practices.
Empower communities to own and sustain the tech stack.
Governance & Security • Implement data governance, compliance (GDPR‑AF), and role‑based access control.
• Enforce encryption and audit trails.
Protect sensitive data while maintaining transparency.
